Prof Yee Khong

Yee Khong was elected to the Presidency of the College at the November 2011 AGM. Yee Khong, qualified in medicine from the University of Sheffield with a MSc in Immunology from the University of London. He trained in Pathology at the Royal Free Hospital, London before commencing research at St George’s Hospital Medical School, London. Yee completed his pathology training at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, subspecialising in perinatal/paediatric pathology. Admitted to RCPA Fellowship in 2000, Yee currently holds the post of Senior Consultant Pathologist in SA Pathology, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, North Adelaide. He is Professor in the Department of Pathology and Department of O&G at University of Adelaide and Adjunct Professor, Department of Pathology, National University of Malaysia (UKM).

 

Within the College Yee is a member of the Anatomical Pathology Advisory Committee and was previously State Councillor for South Australia and Northern Territory, a member of the Pathology Professional Activities Committee (PPAC) and the Paediatric Advisory Committee. He has been a College nominee on a number of external committees and has served on the Council as a State Councillor, Vice President and Senior Vice President.
