Pathology Update 2018 is offering:

  • 25 complimentary full registrations to full time medical and science students from within Australasia.
  • and 25 reduced rate registrations of $220.00 AUD.

Grant Includes:

  • Welcome Breakfast for all accepted Medical and Science Students on Friday 2 March 2018 from 9.00-10.00am at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICCS)
  • Full three day Scientific and social program conference registration (includes catering)

Grant does not include travel and accommodation.

To Apply:
Complete the Pathology Update 2018 Medical and Science Student Application Form (above) and email the application form to by Tuesday 31 October 2017.
Complimentary and reduced rate registrations will be awarded to the medical students who best explain in 1 paragraph how attendance at Pathology Update will benefit their future careers via the interactive PDF.

  • Paragraphs written in the body of the email and not as an attached document will not be accepted.
  • Students who have previously been awarded complimentary registration at Pathology Update in 2016 or 2017 are not eligible to apply for the complimentary grant again. These students may apply for the reduced rate registration. Students who have previously been awarded the reduced rate grant may apply for the complimentary registration for 2018.
  • All successful applicants will then need to complete the required Pathology Update 2018 Medical and Science Student Grant Registration Form after they have been notified of their successful application which will be emailed and made available on the RCPA website.
  • If a scholarship winner is no longer able to attend Pathology Update they must notify the RCPA as soon as possible so that their place may be reallocated.
  • As a condition of acceptance, scholarship winners are required to write a brief report (approximately 200 words) at the conclusion of Pathology Update 2018 about their Pathology Update experience and email it to Rachel Johnson by Monday 2 April 2018.
