Clinical and radiological assessment.

MCS urine, Urine cytology if indicated.

Full blood count, Blood film; Creatinine, Urea. Fine needle aspiration biopsy, needle or open biopsy if indicated.

Renal tumour, especially

  • Wilms' tumour
  • Renal cell carcinoma

 

Perinephric Abscess

Fine needle aspiration biopsy with microscopy and culture (including mycobacteria testing). Blood culture.
