Infant: term cord blood: 4.0-6.0 x 1012/L

Child:

3 months: 3.2-4.8 x 1012/L

1 year: 3.6-5.2 x 1012/L

3-6 years: 4.1-5.5 x 1012/L

10-12 years: 4.0-5.4 x 1012/L

Adult female: 3.8-5.8 x 1012/L

Adult male: 4.5-6.5 x 1012/L.

Application:

Investigation of anaemia, microcytosis or erythrocytosis.
