Expressions of interest are invited from Anatomical Pathologists interested in working at Austpath Tissue Pathology in Northmead, NSW.

Austpath Tissue Pathology (www.austpath.com.au) is a privately owned and operated pathology laboratory, which has been providing a high quality pathology service for over 20 years.

Austpath Tissue Pathology provides a customer focused quality pathology healthcare service mainly to medical specialists. The work is interesting and varied and we focus on fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNA), head and neck pathology (including ENT pathology) and gastrointestinal pathology.

Fine needle aspiration cytology is a significant component of the workload.

You will be supported by a highly enthusiastic team of scientists and administrative staff. Our histology department performs immunohistochemistry on site (Dako) and has a comprehensive list of antibodies.

Active participation in performing and reporting fine needle biopsies will be encouraged.

Candidates must have qualifications recognized by the Royal College of Pathologists (Australasia) and be eligible for Medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), if not already registered.

This is a part time (3 days per week) position.

The position will suit candidates with five or more years postgraduate experience.

Commencement date: ASAP.
