Viruses in May
Thursday 17 May - Saturday, 19 May 2018
We welcome you to Viruses in May for 2018, being held on Thursday 17 to Saturday 19 May 2018 at the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba. Viruses in May is a clinical course aimed at senior and less experienced scientists, pathologists, registrars, infectious diseases clinicians, and clinicians from other disciplines interested in viral diseases. The themes for 2018 include rapid point of care testing, parechovirus and other emerging viral threats, vaccination for prevention of viral illness, and viral infections of Aboriginal Australians.
We look forward to insights from practitioners who are experts in the areas they talk on, and in many cases, who are internationally recognized in their area. It is being able to talk “up close and personal” about the areas that is of importance, and that is one of the many things that makes VIM special. We look forward to outstanding plenary talks, vigorous and informed discussion, as well as having you at the meeting.
