A group of related, clonal, stem cell disorders characterised by excessive production of erythrocytes and/or granulocytes and/or platelets, increased bone marrow fibrosis, splenomegaly and, often, hyperuricaemia.

They all have the potential for transformation to acute leukaemia. Please see individual clinical problem entries as listed below.
