Fellowship of the Faculty of Science (Research) RCPA by published works is a pathway now available to professionals who have outstanding research expertise in science and pathology, which will make a vital contribution to the Faculty of Science.

How to Apply

The application process requires an Informal Review in the first instance. The Informal Review will involve the applicant submitting their CV and list of publications for the Principal Examiner to assess as having potential to meet the standard expected for Fellowship by published works.Following a successful outcome of the Informal Review, the applicant will make a Formal Application, which includes two copies of their publications and their Sponsors commentary. Fellowship of the Faculty of Science by Scientific Achievement is a pathway available to medical and dental graduates who have already attained Fellowship of the RCPA. It recognises scientific achievements in research, innovation, development and leadership.

How to Apply

The application process is the same as for Fellowship by research except that evidence of scientific achievement is to be submitted in accordance with standards in research and in innovation, development and leadership as set out in the policy below, using the specific forms below.

This Fellowship pathway is available to professionals with demonstrated expertise and leadership in Pathology Informatics. It gives recognition to those who are at the forefront of this discipline, with an emphasis on information technology standards, management & innovation and research.

How to Apply

The application process requires an Informal Review in the first instance. This will require the applicant to submit her/his CV together with a list of achievements in accordance with the three categories as described in the policy, and will be assessed by the Principal Examiner as to the potential to meet the expected standard. Following a successful outcome at the Informal Review, the applicant may progress to submitting a Formal Application, which requires a more detailed description of the achievements (see above policy), together with the Sponsor’s commentary. Please refer to the Faculty of Science By-Laws, in particular Article 57, for eligibility guidelines.
